Dyspraxia (Developmental Coordination Disorder) in Children and Adults

We work with children and adults with dyspraxia (also called Developmental Coordination Disorder, or DCD) by looking at the underlying neurodevelopmental and sensory factors that affect coordination, motor planning and daily living. Our biology-led programs complement occupational therapy and physiotherapy and can help create the conditions in which other interventions are more likely to take hold.

The nervous system

NeuroMature for dyspraxia

Dyspraxia is, at its core, a difficulty planning and coordinating everyday movement. When primitive reflexes from infancy stay active beyond their natural window, coordinated movement takes more effort than it should, affecting balance, eye-tracking, fine motor control and the body's sense of where it is in space. Decades of neurodevelopmental research link these retained reflexes to exactly these difficulties.

NeuroMature integrates them through short daily movement exercises, built on a decade of clinical work. Solid foundations here make every other kind of support work better.

Follow it yourself at home through the BeBright app, with clear, structured video guidance every step of the way, and the option to add one-off coached sessions if you'd like extra support.

Clients report better eye-tracking, balance, coordination and confidence. Where reflexes integrate well, repeat programs are rarely needed.

If you or your child is under medical treatment, don't stop or change it without consulting your doctor. NeuroMature complements medical care; it doesn't replace it.

BrightBeatz

BrightBeatz for dyspraxia
The ears do two jobs: hearing and balance. Because the same system underpins both, supporting how the ears process sound can also support coordination and spatial awareness , the areas dyspraxia affects most.
BrightBeatz™ is BeBright's at-home listening programme. It uses specially modulated music to stimulate the ears and encourage more balanced listening. The programme runs over 10 days, with two 30-minute sessions a day at home. Some parents report seeing improvements in the weeks and months following the course.
